the briefing

The Japanese automaker, Mitsubishi, was seeking a suitable ambassador for their latest campaign with a clear connection to the Asian country. Calvin Jong-A-Pin, who has played football in Japan for 10 years and fallen in love with the country's culture, was a clear match and the perfect choice for a fantastic brand movie and great campaign images.

the execution

The concept consists of two stories that come together organically and make a journey from the past to the present. The Hattrick conducted executive research into the norms and values of Mitsubishi. This journey focused on the story, emotions, and perspective, exploring why they intersect and how they intersect.

the result

This concept resulted in beautiful images that can be admired in year-round Mitsubishi expressions through their social media channels, newsletters, and through the channels of their proud ambassador himself, Calvin Jong-A-Pin.
